What is Pearly Penile Papules ?
Pearly Penile Papule is a male genital skin condition. Small dome shaped bumps in either pink or white color will be formed in large numbers around the corona of penis. I sincerely was expecting the spam at the end of the article, you know, the buy our product, in 3 days you'll be done with it.
Saying that I went to an STD clinic and got falsely diagnosed with genital warts (the doctor was new only worked there for two weeks) and I was given a warts treatment cream (just so you know i'm not advertising any products) which, although a bit painful when applied around the PPP actually removed 2/3 of them in 10 days (3 days of treatment, 4 days rest, 3 days of treatment again). The recommended course is 4 weeks for warts, but i think 2-3 weeeks will be fine.. And this cost me nothing (don't go for expensive laser or liquid nitrogen treatments)

I went to the docs thinking i had genital warts turned out they were pearly penile papules he told me they were normal and nothing could be done to remove them. Since then i have read about various methos of removal including surgical shaving and laser surgery. My question is has anyone any information on these treatments or are there anyone else out there who really wants to get rid of these eye sores.
tea tree oil is the way to go. i used the tea tree oil soap for a a few weeks and my fella looked much better then i used the 100% oil with cotton buds and they have all gone. happy days! :)

I'm on my fourth week of treatment using Tea Tree Oil. It works!!! You must be patient. I didn't notice any change until after the second week on use. Now on my fourth week, the PPP are waning away. I use tea tree oil three or more times a day, but find it too tedious to clean the penis every time that I apply the oil. It still works without going through all the motions.
i have also heard of putting toothpaste on it i have used this it burns after putting it on but 5 mins and it is done, i have used this a little bit not too concerned right now considering im 15 and not dating so im letting it go slowly, i have noticed a slight decrease in the size quite a relief. i absolutely hate these things at first i was scared because i thought i had aids or STDs or something like that but i had not engaged in any sexual intercourse so i did some research and came across John Marvins PPP cure and that is obviously a scam but i figured applying toothpaste before you go to sleep i have heard wrapping it in toilet paper helps but it got annoying and left a mess so i would advise putting it on before going to sleep no toilet paper then when you wake up jump in the shower so its not all sticky and uncomfertable and then repeat for as long as needed and if you dont see a decrease in size within 2 weeks change to something else or get it checked out, thank you for reading

Yea will peel, nothing to worry about. However I used it for 2 months and they completely went but two weeks after I stopped they came back.

Starting to use tea tree oil today ! :) i used to use castor oil and i had some results but i didn't use it regularly cuz it said to use as much castor oil as u can put and it made my boxer shorts so oily x) gonna report in a week about the tea tree oil usage :D
1. OCM: First, read about it http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/ OCM works with the concept of oil dissolves oil (castor + jojoba dissolves sebum/keratin). I do a mix of 50% castor and 50% jojoba. You will have to find the right ratio for your skin. Make sure the castor oil is COLD PRESSED and pure. Go out and buy baby washcloths for the steaming. I use to do OCM everyday, but now it's more like every other day. You will see the sebum coming out of the skin, no joke! Rub in gentile, circular motions until the skin feels minorly irritated then stop. Over rubbing the skin will cause more sebum production. Remember to steam all the oil off. NOTE: Immediately after OCM your SP WILL look worse because of the gunk the OCM is bringing to the surface of the skin.
2. Aspirin Mask: This is what I saw the most improvement from. Go to the store and buy UNCOATED aspirin and the most PURE aloe vera gel you can find. If it's not at least 99% pure don't buy it. Trader Joes is where I got mine. Take 3-4 aspirin and mix with aloe vera gel until you get a paste. Apply to your junk and leave it for 30 mins. Then, turn some hot water on and slowly exfoliate the skin in circular motions. The aspirin mask is salicylic acid which is a BHA. This means the the aspirin literally goes into the pores and dissolves sebum, when your exfoliate you rub the sebum out. I do this every other day.
The results? My SP is 98% clear and I saw noticeable improvement after a week or two. Treatment has cost around 25 dollars for me. This was always one of the communities that I felt most passionately about, and I'm glad to be here with you guys today!
This method is for fordyce spots, but it may work for ppp, I havent tried it but I found it on a forum and I figured I'd paste it on here for you guys, I don't have ppp but I do have fordyce and it's held me back for years. I'm gonna try this ocm and see if it works, but if any of you have tried it can you save me the trouble and tell me if it worked

Ok its been a week since i used tea tree oil , the first time i applied it, it got really itchy and after an hour or so it started to burn. I didn't use it for 2 days after that since it hurt like hell , but what i did notice is that the PPP were slightly weakened . Then it started to peel off and i got a bit worried but its ok now since it stopped . I'm uncircumcised and i firstly thought i had to have the foreskin back down there but now i just let it roll over . I use tee tree oil now 3 times a day or more . I didn't apply anymore on for a few days because of the burning but I jumped out the shower two days after and my penis was peeling and I could see some parts when there had only been a few ppp they had gone

Maybe these home remedies do work but I decided to get them removed by a doctor and just thought Id tell everyone my story because there seems to be so many lads on here who are affected by PPP. I never tried any home remedies but decided to get them removed in a clinic in London. They were mentally affecting me so badly because I was circumcised they were so obvious when I went to the toilet and sexually I was embarrassed. I had PPP when I was like 14 and got them removed a couple years back when I was 21. It cost me £495 which was expensive but literally, it was the best 500quid i have ever spent. If the home remedies fail Id recommend it. I am 100% PPP free.
I booked an appointment at a clinic and went down to London (Im sure there are a list of PPP removal surgeons around America and other places somewhere online). Within 30 minutes I was done! He put numbing cream around the PPP and made me wait 15 minutes until it was numb then got this zapping interment out and literally burnt them away in front on me. He did is so casually. I didn't feel anything. the rim around my cock head did scab over and it looked pretty rank! The scab lasted about 10 days then it started falling off, and literally I could see I had no more PPP. Its been a couple of years and still I am PPP free with only one or two he missed but you cannot see them, I just know they are there when I shine a torch on it. The recover was kinda stressing because I was so worried it would scar but it does, as long as you don't pick the scab then the results are 100% perfect. Id recommend it highly if your home treatments don't work. As soon as I was healed, I was so sexual active and had some awesome fun! I felt at my sexual peak and it gave me confidents. Use an Apple Cider Vinegar,a cotton and elastic,what you do is yo soak the cotton with ACV wrap it around where you have PPP and elastic fo 2hrs.then the will be white then use a sharp razor to cut the tip of PPP as lower you can it will bleed be and careful.Soak new cotton wrap it and elastic after 2hrs wrap again with clean cotton.it painful to put soaked cotton than cutting but it is worth it.For a start cut just about four papule to experience and experiment.Dont cut them all at once it might be lethal so take it easy it works 90% and when done an healed get Aldara cream from the doctor to apply WHERE IT USED TO BE PPP.

I dont understand why ppp are not more looked into by doctors. If so many people are affected by them why doesnt anybody do something about it. ppp makes you less confident in your body and less confident around women because you have these white ugly bumps sticking off the rim of the penis. Less than a week ago I had 'electrosurgical destruction' performed by a dermatologist to remove my PPP. This is not CO2 laser treatment, and i would recommend it to anyone suffering from PPP. It cost me about $90 for the consultation with the dermatologist and only $45 for the 'surgery' and he did it on the day i went in. I'm telling you now, it didn't hurt at all! They give you a numbing cream to apply about 30 mins before you go in and then the dermatologist just flicks them off with a little tool/zapper thing. Even as i sit here now about 5 days after, the area is a bit scabby but only sore if you touch it with foreskin rolled back. I'm told that you just let it heal itself (which takes a few weeks) and don't pick the scabs or anything or you might get a scar. Everything is fine for me at the moment and it gets better every day. It wasn't a scary exercise and I wouldn't even really call it surgery. I walked out of there and caught the train home and whilst i am taking it easy, i wouldn't exactly call this a 'recovery period' more just healing time for the scab.
Try Tea Tree oil first and see how you go. It seems to work for some people, but not for everyone! It helped my PPP but didn't remove them. Seemed to knock off a few and make them a little smaller. And it did dry out the skin and make it a little sore. It's worth a shot though. It probably depends on how many you have and how big they are. And there is probably a chance they will reoccur.
If it doesn't work after a month or two or if you want a guaranteed result - GO SEE A DOCTOR/DERMATOLOGIST and tell them you want them removed. It's really not as scary as it sounds. You've just got to grow the balls and do it. A doctor will usually tell you to just 'live with them' and that 'they're perfectly normal'. But really.. they probably don't have them themselves so how do they know what it's like to live with? Don't let them make you feel silly by wanting them removed.
Also - I've seen a lot of sites trying to sell their magic cream/product and say bad/exhadgerrated things about the CO2 laser or electro laser, just to try and convince you to buy their product. It's total rubbish! If i thought i was going to be 'hospitalised for 2 or 3 weeks' i would have reconsidered. This is also only one of the good sites i've seen on the topic and it's a shame this comment thread is so hidden on the internet!
I recommend electrosurgical deconstruction as it seems far less cheaper that CO2 laser. CO2 laser may have a less chance of scarring, but really if you look after the area properly and let it heal properly you have nothing to worry about. If you're really worried though, go the CO2. They are the best two methods by far, and the most modern. I'll report back here in a couple of weeks and let you know how i pull up! And if anyone has any questions please post them on here and I'll try and check back in a couple of days.
PPP are almost gone. They have gotta considerably smaller in a few weeks with the use of tree tea oil about 3 times a day. Just a few more weeks and they wont be noticable at all i'd say

I'll briefly give you my story. I'm 28 and had PPP for probably about 10 years now. last summer, after scaring myself to death by reading stuff online I was sure I had HPV which is a freaking STD. I booked me an appointment with a very recommended doctor (I live in NYC, so got some really good ones over here), with all the embarrassment involved, I went to see him.
Fortunately enough, he put me to ease and let me know that it is not an STD but PPP and it is common in about 25% of adult males. So what I wanted to tell you is first of all - go make sure you know what you have!
reading stuff online can be sometime terrifying and in worst cases - misleading. Don't diagnose yourself in WebMD - spend the $$ and go to a doctor!
Anyway, after reassuring me that it is nothing to worry about, I've naturally asked him (knowing the options more or less from reading online before) what can I do, or what he recommends as a treatment to get rid of my PPP. he's answer surprised me, he just said "just don't do anything about it". He said that the conventional treatments such as a surgery my scar the penis tissue or even worst - mess around with the sensitivity of the area. I should mention, I have my PPP scattered just below the head on the edge of the shaft...meaning close to the "hole" or whatever you call it.
Relaxed and satisfied, I left the doctor's office but was still determined to try and find some kind of a solution. I mean, there had to be something to at least help out with the symptoms a bit! and then, after many pages of that douche guy Josh Marvin, I've stumbled across this page. (and relieved to know that the same info on that page is the info he was trying to push on me for $47 or whatever it was...)
Anyway, I've decided I will give tea tree oil a chance. It wasn't complicated for me to treat myself with that, it wasn't an expensive remedy and I figured I had nothing to lose. So I did some research on which ones are the best since I didn't want to use some CVS brand on myself down there, I've ordered myself some of it and began treatment. It is somewhere about the 4th week now and I think I can definitely say that although they are not gone yet, they seem to be shrinking in size. Before I began the treatment, it had very small white bumpy heads and now, I can say they are more flat and less intense in color... more pinkish actually. I try as much to apply it 3 times a day and I hope tht with persistence I will be able to get rid of the for good for it has been a decade now!!!
I've saw some people mentioning some burning sensation when they apply the oil, and do I feel it too sometimes, but for me it is very mild, and it actually feels a bit like its "doing something" down there.
So once again, to sum up, go get yourselves checked out! If you can afford a doctor, perhaps you can visit a STD clinic in your area. They should be able to diagnose you as well. And don't lose hope! I hope this will work for me even better so I could update you more soon. Take care.

17 Year old suffering male, uncircumsized and had these for a while, been with quite a few girls and i've hid them as best I could but im beginning to be sick of these things. Lack of confidence and depression setting in, its obnoxious and they have to go. I wont tell my parents about this until my tea tree oil fails. Here it goes -
Day 1: Got the tea tree oil at 7:00 tonight, applied two coats around the rim of my penis (the papules) held my foreskin back and aired it out for about 15 minutes until I had to leave the bathroom and let it roll over. I used a q-tip to dip into the oil and coat the rim. The tea tree oil is kind of smelly, something like vicks vapor rub so if you can do this at a time where you arent around people thats probably best.
Its now 10:16 I put a second coat on same amount, same thing hung out for 10-15 minutes with foreskin pulled back and now im making this with my foreskin rolled over.
Slight burning and redness, no real pain or itching, the rim is pretty dry but I feel as though thats the point. Thats all for now, tomorrow Im going to attempt to put a coat on at least 3 times a day until these things vanish (hopefully) if it fails I will go to my parents and explain to them my situation to get them removed by a dermatologist, my family has the money and I know it wouldnt be a problem but its so embarassing.
Im living with ppp for so long I cry I don't want to see them no more I don't know which is the best thing to start using I haven't use any as yet I'm just confuse Idk what to do. Applied it once at 8:00 this morning, once at 2:30, and another coat just now.
Im going for about 3 times a day.
I havent seen much improvement yet, however the color is to an extent looking less white and more skin colored. It's only day 2 though, still being patient.
Day 3 -
Did it once at 11:00 ish and then got with a girl later on thank god condoms hide that shit.
Basically just doused my entire dick with the tea tree oil and its dry and painful, probably a bad idea but we'll see. So far no major results..they might be a tad bit smaller but not a noticeable difference. Im going to be making an e-mail account for questions so i'll keep posting and eventually make the e-mail. Was in the shower and used Garnier Pure Active Scrub put some on my pauples left it for a couple mins next day dick peeled done it again all completlty gone couldnt beleive it tried tea tree oil for ages didnt do anything. The scrub has got some 2% acid in it think this is what done it!!!

I came across a forum post about PPP, not even looking for anything related to PPP and just dismissed it. I was in my bathroom today and took a really close look. My heard dropped. I'm still not even sure if I would say I have PPP because they are extremely smaller than any of the images I have seen but they still don't look normal.
I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on it, hopefully it's not PPP, or if it is, it's minor.
Best of luck to all of you trying the home remedies. Scientist and doctors should really look into this more if 25% of men have PPP.

Castor oil is the way to go. Unlike tea tree oil or toothpaste it does not burn on application.

i don't think circumcision will help, coz many circumcised people do have PPP. in the case of ur dad, i've read that PPP will get smaller and even disappear with increased in age in some men, so ur dad must be one of those lucky guy.
so i suggested not to b circumcised coz it's not 100% sure to get rid of PPP.

No more PPP for me! I've been on the tea tree oil method for 3 weeks today and it has completely removed my papules. I'm stopping now, as they have completely gone! I urge anyone with even minor symptoms to give this a go. It didn't cost me anything because I already had cotton buds and a 10ml bottle of neat tea tree oil of which I only used half. I am sure you would be able to pick up these two for under £5.

Been preeeeeeeeetty inactive but just letting you guys know, I was pretty thorough with the Tea Tree Oil method and it seemed to be pretty effective with the papules decreasing and all. Stopped having all the time to apply and sorta gave up and the papules came back so I hopped back on the Tea Tree Oil again. IT DOES HELP, just gotta be patient and cant give up. Also, I may give that Pure active scrub with the saylicic acid, that might actually be a good idea.

I know, it sucks but every chick I've been with either doesn't notice or asks and I tell them its a skin condition and they can look it up online, sex has been fine and not once has anyone ever been judgmental. I would first off like to say that the fact doctors dont suggest rememdies or surgical precedures is frankly disgusting!! a professional in the medical field should know the facts on this kind of subject! especially as its a genital issue!!
I went to the doc as a 13 year old boy not knowing what was wrong with me and scared out of my mind and had finally plucked up the courage to do something about it.. I was then just ushered away and told in no uncertain terms to live with it.. ok for them to say! What the hell do i pay my taxes for? to be rejected?
i finally met my school sweet heart and we were together for 3 years. As we had been together for a long period i thought it was the time to show her what was wrong with me(yes i managed to hide it for 3 years!)And she flipped,dumped me on the spot and accused me of infecting her with "somefucking disease".. some time later she got in touch and apologised (didnt make it ok i must say) turned out she did some research.. But the damge had been done..
The good thing was i knew they were harmless.. but try telling that to a girl.. sorry kids but about 70% of women are shallow as hell.. thats life..
Now i would consider my self a fairly handsome chap,i work out,keep in good shape but for some reason it has all seemed irrelavant because of this condition... to the point where i have learnt to not judge anybody unless they deserve it..
But i am writing this mainly for the younger poor souls who dicover this condition. Its tough! But the one thing that sticks out for me (apart from the papules haha) is the fact that at the time you think you are the only person in the world with this problem. Thankfully we have forums like this one where people can talk through problems like this,something that wasnt really common when i was 12 (internet only really started to take off globally about then) so take advantage of this information from these awesome people who want to help. Its so great that everybody here feels strongly about helping eachother out.. something i could have done with as a boy.. So thank you everybody i have put your guidelines to good use. I have been using the tea tree oil method,at first within about 3 days i noticed a massive difference but they started to come back but the important thing to remember is that we have to be patient with these solutions and that is what im doing. Slowly but surely this method is making a difference and if it doesnt work then hey i bite the financial bullet and get laser surgery..
Guys lets all get this problem sorted and lets help eachother.. Fuck the doctors! they are no good over payed bandits!!
Also some people are lucky enough for them to dissapear on there own but the reality is them circumstances are few and far between lets be realistic and supportive!

I have been applying tea tree oil for about 6-7 months now. IT DOES WORK! The reason why it has taken so long for me is because due to a busy schedule I can only apply twice a day 80% of the time. BUT BE PATIENT! It really does work, at first the skin will start to come off easly which I reccomend just rubbing off when you have a shower. then they will die down. This process will repeat itself over and over, but after the second or third time you will see the difference. Another thing to take note is that the PPP will start to "get bigger, and look whiter" at the beginning of the process, but this is just the collection of the dead skin getting ready to come off. Another side effect is that your bellend might get red patches, this is nothing to worry about it is just the tea tree oil accidently effecting it, this does nothing and goes as quickly as it comes. my PPP has shrinked by about 80% and I reckon in the next 2-3 months they will be completley gone. I would also reccomend doing it a month or so after you can see any PPP, this is just to make sure all of it is gone, and all of your cinfidence comes back.

Ps, another note to PPP hater, roll the fore skin over so the tea tree oil stays.

Steps for PPP removal using Tea Tree Oil
1. Wash the PPP & surrounding areas with a mild disinfectant soap & water.
2. Pat the area dry. There should not be any dampness left on or around the PPP.
3. Squeeze a dab of Tea Tree Oil onto the cotton swab.
4.Apply the cotton swab to the affected area. do use more Tea Tree Oil what covers the PPP. Less is better in this instance.
5. Continue steps 3 & 4 two times a day. It's better to do this first thing in the morning & right before bed.
6. Try to be patient. This may take some time. Some people see results in a few days. For others, the process can take a few weeks or more. Everyone's body responds to treatments in its own way.

@saw saw , I've been using tea tree oil for a month and 10 days, I have seen great improvement , especially on 2 big pauples on my shaft.. They used to be really big but the tea tree oil has made them wayyy smaller.. I am going to continue to use tea tree oil till all the papules are gone,, I'm 17 by the way
